Defender Hwang Jae-won (21-Daegu FC) has been recognized for his potential by a data system used by European big league clubs after winning the men’s soccer gold medal at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in China.

On Nov. 19 (KST), ‘Comparisenator’ introduced Hwang as “the best under-23 K League 1 player to watch this season who has caught the eye with his outstanding performance on the pitch,” as selected by its in-house artificial intelligence.

Founded in Turkiye Istanbul in 2018, Comparisenator, a statistical company, sells data to European first division teams such as ▲Sheffield United (England) ▲Celta Vigo (Spain) ▲Sittard, NEC, and Zwolle (Netherlands) ▲Mechelen (Belgium) ▲Rangers (Scotland) ▲Lafitte (Austria).

The UEFA league rankings are England 1st, Spain 2nd, Netherlands 5th, Belgium 8th, Scotland 10th, and Austria 11th.
“Hwang Jae-won is making a big impact on his club Daegu FC with his outstanding performances in the 2023 Korean Professional Football League,” said ‘Comparisonsnator’, presenting right-back stats such as ▲dribbles 1st, crosses 2nd, challenging ball control 3rd, and fast breaks 3rd.

According to the ‘Comparisonsnator’ analysis, Hwang Jae-won has distinguished himself as the number one overall ranking among all right backs in the K League 1 this season due to his outstanding characteristics such as ▲attacking power, 4th ▲defending power, 1st ▲contesting ability, 3rd ▲passing index, and 2nd.

Comparisons are also available for the Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Vancouver Whitecaps, New England Revolution, FC Dallas, and Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS).

The Comparisonator also explains why Hwang Jae-won plays three different positions for Daegu FC, including 14% as a central midfielder and 5% as a left-back in the 2023 Korean Premier League.

At the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in China, he averaged 84.2 minutes in six games as a starting right defender, helping South Korea win the title, thus meeting the criteria for athletic personnel transfer, also known as the “military service exception.
Hwang has been on the international radar since last year, when he was named one of the “Best Four Right Backs for the 2022 Champions League” by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) official website. 무지개토토 주소
